I keep temp at 99 - 100 and humidity before lockdown 25% or so.  During lockdown - around 65%.  It worked better when I did it that way.  The first hatch, I never kept track of humidity (I didn't know better - just followed the hovabator instructions).  Second time I followed the dry hatching method as closely as I could.  Went much better.  I still had two eggs with embryos inside - dunno why they didn't hatch.  ??? Go figure.  I live in Lancaster - desert.

You guys are lucky.. I can't get any fertile eggs from my silkies. My silkie rooster sucks at mating with his hens, he gets their necks but for some reason he can't mount them properly. He tries to get on them but slips off the side of them.

I like ferrets.
