What should i pick baby chicks up in?

I am buying chicks from a farmer about 30-45 minutes away from my home. I am not sure what carrier or box i should take with me to pick up the chicks in. I need something that will keep the warm and comfortable for the half and hour drive back home.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

This time of year, the summer temps here in the US are plenty warm.  You don't way where you are.  Just don't cool the car on the drive home.

You don't say how many chicks you're going to get.  If a dozen, then an average size cardboard box of 12x18x12 would be just fine.  Put a non-slip layer on the bottom to give them some grip.  Fold the flaps in to lock together and you're on your way.   Chicks are a whole lot tougher than many realize.  They'll be just fine.

For three to be confined for half an hour a shoebox would be plenty big enough. Just try to put the box out of the sun and where it won't fall on the ride home.

I'm not an expert,"ex" is a has been and a "spurt" is a drip under pressure!
