My dad bought his last one for $450.  He got another one free, although it wasn't even worth that.  They're just giving them away out here.....

Yes Msbag -  it does sound like the pass time of the bored, though I'm not sure why your Aunt is drinking Margaritas' in the barn.   I'd seen the round "daubers" houses but not these.

 

As for stinging wasps we do have the paper wasps under the eaves and I do spray those suckers and the yellow jackets.  Unfortunately I don't see to many honey bees. Not even in my garden.  Ugh! 

 

I've been mulling over putting in a hive for pollination, but have yet to move on the idea.

Party.  The barn is a GREAT place for parties, and my mom was married there.  There's always Margaritas when my aunt is at a party....
