Help identifying breed of this tiny odd bunch?

This bunch of teeny chicks was given to me and are said to be somewhere around 6 weeks. I was told that the mama is a silky? She had a total of 12 peeps but they were disappearing one by one. The 7 remaining are shown in the photo below. The papa was identified only as a small 'green rooster'. Not much help, I know.

In order to care for them properly, I've been searching the breeds list but not getting very far. Some have feathered feet, some have crested heads. The little roosters are crowing and also doing what full grown roosters do - picking back of neck and mounting - yet they are so very tiny! Any help would be appreciated...

silkies and (projects), sumatras, lakenvelders, frizzles, polish and (projects), sultans, buff orps, black sexlinks, turkeys, red golden pheasents, Peepers, dogs, cats, fish, horses, wild kids, and one very understanding DH, come on over for a visit to the crazy farm

My mom thinks they're adorable and might be mixed with quail. She offered to take them off my hands and I'm glad she did.

 

Yesterday I let them out a little before sunset for the first time and the little rooster chased my monster-in-comparison 10 wk old hens around the yard until a big BO rooster stepped on him and started ripping at his neck. I got to them in time thank goodness!

They'll be much safer at my mom's.

 

Thank you all, I'll let her know the consensus is silkie mixes.

Thank you hdowden, I looked up some pictures of mille fleur and was amazed at the similarity of the face. I'm going to print out some info on that breed to show her.

millie fleur is a color pattern not a breed and several different breeds do come in that pattern. it does look like one parent had feather's on the legs (the silkie) and one didn't (possible a mille fleur old english game bantam or a buff bantam of some sort), if 2 feather legged breeds were used the foot feathering would be much more than that.

How many toes do they have? I agree with the leg feathering, only 1 parent had feathered legs. They are not mixed with quail. Quail are a completely different species and can not interbreed with chickens. There is a color variety in chickens however called quail that is often seen in Belgian D'anvers chickens. Old English or dutch bantams often come in mille and they do have the upright posture like your guys seem to have, they are tiny, single combed and clean legged, so that would be my guess. If none of them have 5 toes then I would say silkie is out of the question and I would guess Polish/D'uccle maybe? But that wouldn't explain the dark skin. Either way they are adorable

They only have three toes, and yes, they stand very upright and puff their chests out when I don't have a camera shoved in their pen. The chest feathers are especially pretty on most of them, like speckled with paint, and the black ones'  feathers have a purple green iridescent shine. Three of them have clean legs.

When my daughter told me the lady had silkies she needed to find a home for right away, I was expecting a bigger furry version. 

I joked with my mom she'd probably have to use a dozen of their eggs to make an omelet. I can't get over how small they are compared to my behemoths. You've all been very helpful with the additional information and I appreciate it.
