Is this an Ameraucana? - Page 4

I strongly believe its a pullet I have seen pullets with the exact same color and nothing about that bird looks roostery other then possibly color...

Thank you, Allmychickens!  big_smile.png  I certainly hope so. I'm hoping that my picture is clear enough.

1 Buff Orpington, 1 Golden Comet, 1 Jersey Giant, 1 Aracauna, 1 Blue Cochin and 1 Barred Rock. I will be adding a Coronation Sussex and a Black Copper Maran to my flock in October - can't wait!

firefighter chick - she looks A LOT like my bella - just with a much darker head.  keeping my fingers crossed for a girl still!

 

will certainly post a pic in a couple more weeks and see what happens!

I don't think you have to wait. By this time, you would start to see saddle feathers and a much redder and raised comb. The colouring does not look roo to me either.

Boys almost always get red in their wings. It is not just spots, but rather blotchy red patches.

Hello! Just wanted to share a few pictures of my beautiful Ameraucana....there was another there with her same coloring and all the other were wheatens. She is about 2 1/2 months. I am so in love with her!!

I would guess EE as well, although she has many of the Ameraucana traits her legs are greenish which is a dead giveaway for EE.  Basically she is an Ameraucana mix.  Still a lovely bird, you should get blue, green, or olive eggs from her!
