How sad.  Sorry.

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

Thank you everyone. It was a hard decision since i'v never done anything of the such and also I am a vagitarian so I never even thought of ever having to put pne of my ladies down. My husband thinks it was so severe due to it was 116• outside and the made them peck at her more then they normally would of in other circumstances. This whole experience has me in mode to make some changes to RooRoo and his ladies coop and yard, I want to have a seperate place where I can let hens who need special attention to graze alone but still be in the yard wiith her flock and then some emergancey type of in hen house cage they can roost with the rest but still " with" them in the hen house. I am defanatly looking for hen aprons as well. redesign in on top of my mind now. Thank you all ,I am only months into keeping hens for the first time. When I first got them I did nurse one from a serious cols and was lathergic but this really was a failure I did not enjoy. Thank you all and God Bless!
