What Breed?

I have been told Barred Rock, but the striping is mottled and he has a black tail.  Please help.  I am pretty sure that he is crossed with something.  The chicks in my profile pic are his crossed with a BB red game hen.

Thank you.  So how do you tell the sex when they're bitties?

To make a sex link u breed almost any gold roo to a barred hen. U just cant make sexlinks by  breeding sex links to sex links

ok, so, even though they are mixed, I most likely have 2 males and 1 dont know.  correct???

if these guys father is the male pictured above then no they are not sex linked, they could be any gender

that is a black sex link...also you do need to treat for leg mites with his legs looking like that (he has a very very bad case of them and its probably painful for him) and it would be a good idea to treat everyone else as well for the leg mites and do an over all check for mites on the body during the day then re check about an hour after they start to roost for the mites that come out just at night to feed.

Thank you.  I have been treating for leg mites since these pictures were taken.  I started out using veg oil, then started using VetRx.  His legs are looking much better.  The bad scales have been falling off and the skin underneath is looking pink and healthy.

 

So.... about the chicks.....  Anymore opinions?  I would really like to know.  The roo pictured above is the Daddy and the Mama is a BB Red Game Hen.

post pics in a few weeks when they have feathered out some. so far i see one that looks like it will be barred, one all black, and the chipmunck one could turn out like the mother. just a guess tho
