I almost started to give you crap in my head when I first started to read your post, thinking what the hell would anyone do this for?! THEN I thought about me and my first chicks. I was so excited I wasn't paying attention to things, and then I had the lady coming with my birds and still didn't even have the coop finished! LOL. I guess it happens to a lot of us. HAHA.

It is so cool though that things worked out so very nicely. It could have been a disaster, and it worked out great and your grandkids got to witness something very cool on vacation!

Anyway, congrats on the great hatch.

At the very least, wipe the poop off your feet before getting in the car.

ROFLMAO!!!

Oh my gosh. I'm having a similar experience. I was so excited about getting this going that I didn't count days.

I'm 37 1/2 weeks pregnant, I'm going to be induced on either the 16th or 20th. I have a staggered hatch. My chicks are day 21 on the 15th, 18th, and 21st.

So I'm going to hope and pray that my mom is willing to take care of the chicks until I'm home. Oh how I would LOVE to be able to take these little guys with me. Somehow I don't think labor and delivery would be as easy as a hotel to sneak the bator into.

Congrats on the beautiful chicks. I love this story!
