Help...80g eggs!

Hi all,

One of my hens is consistently layign giant 80g double yolk eggs.  She is young, about 18-19 weeks, and has been laying for about 3 weeks.  She is a "red sex link" or "golden comet" (I have both and can't tell the difference).

Is this bad?  Can she die?  What I can do to stop it?

I am feeding them Dumor grower/finisher (I have a mixed flock from 19 weeks to 16 weeks) supplemented with oyster shells.

...also, they free range most of the day almost every day, so they eat bugs and grass and leftovers and chicken scratch and whatever else they find.

Dunno! That is weird! An occasional egg is one thing, but every day? Wow!

But it can't be good for the chicken, can it??  80g is massive!  They don't even fit in egg cartons!

How come no one is taking this seriously?  Chickens are not supposed to lay eggs this big.  It can't be good for her.

Hello, I did a little reading and it says sometimes pulleys new to egg laying will lay large eggs but they usually after a few lay normal sized eggs and also hens that continuously lay big eggs such as double and triple yoked can tear a vent which can be a serious manner, have you noticed any blood on your eggs.[=http://www.chickenkeepingsecrets.com/chicken-eggs/super-sized-eggs-double-or-triple-yokes/][/]

Wow, those are some big eggs.  Thankfully mine are not that big and I haven't seen any blood, either inside or out.  Maybe she will grow out of it?

Yeah I'm thinking she will grow out of it, keep me updated on how everything goes
