Still think Wendy is Wendell...thoughts?

Okay...so I realize that I'm just a worried 1st time chicken owner...BUT that being said...I am still convinced that our speckled sussex, Wendy, is actually a roo...**sigh** I just think that for a pullet she has too much irradecence in her. And the shape of her tail, the black ones have that shine to them and even the feathers on her neck....thoughts?

Black on the feathers on a hen will also shine green/purple.

I think it's a hen but knowing her age would help.

Black Leghorns- they are my main attention, White Leghorn,I still have a few Light Brown Leghorns, but am not going to breed them.I keep small flock GS Barred Rocks, small flock New Hampshire's and am starting to think about good SLW. I do not call myself Breeder- I am backyard chicken lover.
