The place where I get feed doesn't have young chickens feed (chick feed) so is there anyway to make your own feed? If so what should I put in it?

They'll eat whatever the parents would eat.  I'd offer hen layer crumble, its basically the same nix the medication, same protein anyway.  Also commenly available.  Just give them that, and buy medication for their water to prevent diesease the first month or two.  (meds optional, I don't use it, but its available)

If you cant find a starter feed look for a Grower or a Starter/Grower.

Chicks are way to young for layer type feed because of the high amount of Calcium.

You may want to shop around at different feed mills, they should still be stocking a Chick Starter.
