Here in Namibia many farmers keep a type of chicken locally called "Kapokie". I got a pair from a friend of mine who has a lot of them on their farm! They are smaller than normal chicken so they are definitely some sort of Bantam breed. I already checked the "Breeds" part of this site and the only breed I've found to look like mine is the pyncheon breed. Here are some pics of the rooster and his hen:
Animals are awesome! I try to have as many as I can without getting my parents broke! In the aviary we have: 2 Budgies, 4 Chinese Blue Breasted Quail and one small leopard tortoise. In the yard we have: 7 Chicken (2 silkie hens, 4 other farm mix hens, one farm mix rooster) and one large leopard tortoise. We also have 2 dogs, some fish and shrimp. Chicken are AWESOME!! :D
