 Don't be sharp, she's obviously scared of her rooster. And roosters can be quite scary when they are charging at you with one inch spurs! You are reading the same information given here, and you don't seem to be intimidated by the rooster, so why don't you give her a hand?

I have and i have been charged and i did something about it and now he nows im boss. she needs to do it herself but evrytime i try to get her to she gets scared and wont do it :/ plus his spurs are relativly small but ik they still hurt but i get scratched and pecked all the time by him but I do something about it. my sis doesnt want to get scratched up "like me"

If she is scared then go out with her, when the rooster comes encourage her to deal with it and show her how. If you do it right you shouldn't need to get scratched up.

Toro, IMO, you're only disencouraging your sister.

I would get rid of it. Don't have chickens but am around them alot. Friend had a REALLY mean roo that if you entered his "bubble" (Which was pretty large) he would attack you. Only way to get him off would be to drop kick him. He figured out how to dodge the kick and get your other leg while you were off balance. Stick worked until they got rid of him. In my mind, If it's aggression, and not them thinking you are going to hurt them, there's no fixing it. Just my 2 cents, feel free to disregard...

I have done all of the above and am just getting frustrated that she wont do it herself. LOVE YOU SIS BUT YOU HAVE MAN UP FOR THIS ONE!!!

Toro. Don't lose your temper, your sister is just afraid. This is when she really needs you to help her - you can be frustrated, but keep cool and help her overcome her fears. Some people can't do new things on their own, they need help with them, so, I'm asking you, help your sister with this.

wow all this sounds a lot harsher than i mean it to be... sis ik ur scared but if you show it he will attack you. im not trying to be mean but it doesnt mean anything if I pick him up first. sorry if you think im being mean but its just what i had to do and now what you have to do. nothing will work if your to scared to pick him up!

Don't just ask her, show her. She might do a little better when you show her how to deal with him.
