The wyandottes will not be able to fly over a 4 ft fence when full grown, as long as they cannot perch on it.  I would think same is true for the doms, though I've never had them.  Getting up to the roost is easy because they can hop/fly onto a sturdy perch - that's easier than actually flying over a wire fence.

Yea i knew that once they got full grown they definately weren't gonna be able to jump the wire fence, none of ours have ever tried it so far; granted we have only really clipped Blackie's (dominique) wings once since we've had her in the past year and a few months...I dont' think she's laying eggs anymore either, what do most Dom's eggs look like? Dark brown?  And yea I'd hate to go out there one day & one of them tried to fly over the wire fence & kinda didn't make it...don't wanna end up w/a chicken kabob hide.gif tongue.gif
