Hi guys,
We had to take some eggs away from a broody hen who would sit on them and then kick them out. These were developing eggs. So we put them in an incubator and candled every 5 days or so to make sure they were developing and to try and figure out what day they were on. This is day 22 that they have been in the incubator and there is nothing happening, no pipping or anything. We went into lockdown on day 18 and everything. Is there anything that we should do or should we just wait?
*we did have a couple of days where the temp dropped about a half degree and then we'd put it back up but it was only like that for maybe 12 hours, if that long. I want to say this happened 3 times. Could that have delayed anything? Also note this is our 1st time incubating, although you could probably tell. :p

Thanks everyone!

I'd give them a little while. I had a delayed hatch in my bator this time (which has never happened). I thought all of my eggs were doomed. Then I woke up this morning to 4 babies peeping away at me. Its day 22 for me as well, and I've still got 3 eggs that haven't hatched. One has pipped, the other 2 haven't done anything yet. Give them some time, they're probably delayed a little. Good luck!

I hope you're having good luck with your eggs! If it's any consolation, I had two eggs hatch on the 22nd day under a very persistent, broody hen. :O I was worried it would NEVER happen.

Well we just had one pip and teeny tiny crack. I guess thats called pipping? Anyways the egg is shaking and everything so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one, it seemed to be the most developed and the one that had some movement when we candled.
