i came home to find a young chicken in my bathroom a couple weeks ago. apparently my cat decided to join the local adopt-a-chick without consulting his human. i was pretty much ok with this as i had a pet chicken as a child. imagine my amazement when i found out the area does not allow chickens! it's a really friendly chicken (hand-tame), none of the neighbors claim it and i can't keep it. It's got it's wing feathers and is getting it's head feathers. black with white and tan spots, really pretty bird. please, can someone have this bird? it's a great pet, watches tv in my lap in the evenings.

You should post it on your local craigslist. Maybe none of your neighbors claim it cause they're afraid you'll bust them lol.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!
