Sourland, basically a non sports fan, watched events to root for whomever the Princess and kids were against. 

Personally I think nascar is boring, but rallying is pretty cool. I like some football, but that's about it.

Nascar used to be exciting to watch....way before restricter-plates. My dad used to announce at the old racetrack in Fayetteville, NC. I met Davy Allison and Richard Petty there when I was a kid, like around 6 or 7. I loved racing. What they do now is not called racing. It's just driving in circles. 

Wow and I thought I was the only one who could not stand watching sports.

Yeah I'm not into sports like 93% of teens. When my *cough* manly uncles ask me if I do foot ball, and when I say no, they make fun of me by calling my gay or weak. Makes me hate the sport even more. Plus it's 7 days a week of practice from 3-11. Id rather be at home hugging my chickens or talking to my real friends.( I say real as in, not my friends because they like me for who I am.)

The sports televised here are a bit different, but perhaps equally boring to watch. Football (soccer), only bearable when it's the cup final, heralding the end of the season. Horse racing, never been able to see the appeal of that one. Boxing, where's the fun in beating someone up? Worst of all to watch has to be cricket. It's like watching paint dry as they say. No, sports not fro me, but having said that I am watching the Olympics every day. Ho hum......

DH and I don't watch sports. though I have caught DH watching sometimes, and he tell me that he has to watch some because he wants to know what other guy are talking about. I just can't be bothered. I have been known to semi watch the super bowl, but all I am interested in is the new commercials.
