Joining the Quail Crowd...

Chickens have been put off til next year but I had the opportunity to bring home some quail. They are two weeks old now and I am really enjoying them. So much that they will be "in addition to" chickens instead of "until"! There are 28 right now...the seller threw in quite a lot of extras in case any didn't make it, but they are all thriving.

Here there are in their brooder box:

Awesome! Those are some nice looking quail! I'm glad you are enjoying them, they are fun little birds.

Mom to one rambunctious 4-year-old, and the one who brings the food to my "blended family" of several coturnix and a silkie hen. (Flock? Covey? Flovey?) Proud chicken momma of 2 easter eggers, 2 speckled sussex, and 2 silver cuckoo marans, and beginning the adventure of hatching coturnix eggs.
