Am I Pied, Dark Pied Or Something Else?

I just want to find out what color this bird is? In the 2nd picture she is next to her sister an IB (split to charcioal) and she is a gray color with white feathers on her back.  The first one she is turning gray from top to bottom. The only difference from her and her charcoal sister is the charcoal doesn't have the green on the neck. I am going to say she is a IB white eye hen plit to charcoal but is she dark pied or pied? These pics were taken a few weeks ago, she is much more gray now LOL

Definately white eyed (at least one copy).  How old is she? - I have a young peach pied male that has only about that much white on him so far as well.

She is from last year's hatch so she is a year old.

Where is the picture? LOL

I have a peahen from last year that has mainly lots of white in her flights and a foot of white on her throat, but recently I noticed a few of her back feathers had a slight bit of white on them. Could mine be a white eye or would there need to be more than two back feathers with slight white for her to be that? I am starting to wonder if my girl is pied too...Her dad was a pied, mom was a blackshoulder that I now think is probably split to something like white so I am not sure...

I guess I should get a photo of her to see...

10 peafowl: 1 India Blue, 1 blackshoulder, 1 pied, 4 splits (pied or white), 3 whites.
Wanted: Pure Indo-Chinese (Imperator) peafowl, I also want a new pen!

I am updating this thread cause I still want to know what this hen's actual color is called? Is she IB or is she charcoal?

Close up of back

Side by side with her charcoal sister, she is on right

Another side by side shot, she is on left

Another one, she is on left

Above is he IB sister, she is brown.

As you can see she does have a green neck, just she is not brown but charcoal

I had one Indiablue white eye until last year (single factor )hen looked just like that  .She had white flights also but not a white throat patch. and mine definitely was lighter( Ash grey or similar to an opal hen more or less) than a regular IB.   I thin that " white  eye gene " slightly alters the over all appearance of a IB hen. Your hen in the picture looks to me IB  and   " white/ eye" for sure. Is she split to charcoal ??  I do not think that the   IB/charcoals    can be visually differentiated from a reg. IB.Breeding results will only prove it or most of the times if you know the history of her parents. Just sharing my experience and opinion

Your hen is definitely  a pied one,( father is pied x mother is split white)..may be carrying a w/e gene which means., one of her parents must be carrying a white eye gene

Pedda she is the same color as her charcoal sister except she has green on her neck. To see her in person you would say a charcoal but she has a green neck LOL

You know the best about your birds. I agree.

I think your assumption in your original post is probably correct.  She is w/e, and the green neck means she is not charcoal, though she is most likely split to charcoal by your reckoning.  As has been mentioned, w/e does "frost" the colour of a bird, but it is possible that the fact that she is split to charcoal may also be enhanced with the combination of being w/e.  I would stick with your original assumption, and arrange your breeding to fit that, or at least prove that.  Breeding her to a white male or known dark pied male will prove whether she is split to white or split to pied.  Then you can be sure if she is carrying anything other than w/e and charcoal.  Unfortunately, that means a lot of extra chicks hatched that will have a larger variety of genetic uncertainty in them.
