What Color is My Silkie?

post #1 of 5
Thread Starter

 This is Verbena. I got her a few days ago from a couple that are in the process of downsizing their flocks. She's the sweetest thing. I've combed the internet and the forum here, and I can't seem to figure out exactly what color she is. I'm clueless about the difference between blue and gray, and I don't even know if she's either color. The man I bought her from was selling her because she has some red tints on her back and he said that disqualifies her from being shown.

 She's my first Silkie, and I am head over heels in love! She's the sweetest thing ever, and I think she's beautiful no matter what. I'm just curious, and I know this is the place to go to find out! :~)

God grant me the serenity

courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

In Jesus name Amen :)

She could be a dark partridge but most likely is a mix of colors, probably some blue or black.
