If you have any of these breeds, or know someone who does, I am terribly wanting to have some. Particularly interested in obtaining eggs (or chicks) from someone with friendly -- rather than flightly -- birds, but am having a hard enough time finding them that I am willing to work with whatever I can get.  I live near Lake Superior and am especially interested in any breeds that are 1) cold-hardy, 2) uncommon, 3) friendly, 4) good foragers.

 

Presently, I have a full incubator and it won't be vacant for nearly three weeks, so I'm kind of shopping for a future date. Interested in purchasing or trading.

 

Next spring, I should have fertile eggs available to trade:

Cream Legbars

Black Copper Marans (possibly blue/splash also)

Wheaten Marans (again, possibly blue/splash)

Vorwerk ("Golden Lakenvelder")

You're better off calling, he doesn't respond well with emails.
