Bisquik and Buttermilk look like one of my favorite hens, Sunrise. Same breed, most likely. Are the anklets for fun or identification?

they're for fun. :) I can tell my chickens apart, cause I don't have so many to keep track of. I only have four if you haven't noticed. :)

Um, I could try. It might not be very good. But really what you do is:

1. Cute a piece of duct tape 3 and 1/2 inches long.

2. Fold that piece in half width wise. (Meaning: making the piece skinnier.)

3. Put a piece of velcro at each end making it so that you can take it off of the chicken's leg easier.

(To make a bow:)

1. Cut a piece of duct tape 3 inches long.

2. Fold that piece in half length wise. (So that the piece isn't longer, but somewhat fatter.)

3. Fold your newly folded piece of duct tape three times back and forth. (Sort of like if you're making a fan.)

4. Cut a slim piece of duct tape, and tape the middle of the bow.

5. Cut another piece of slim duct tape, and place it in the middle of the bow, and tape it onto the anklet.

Hope that's good!!!

Ah, and the entries.

Bisquick:

Today we got to come out THREE times!!!!!!! It was so fun!! Mom came out to get us SUPER late. I wasn't too happy about that, but at least we got to come out for a little longer than usual. Then, during out second outing, all of us took dust baths, except for Junior, who dug in Grammie's gardens. :) I kinda wanted to do that too, but I needed a dust bath. It felt nice. Snap almost caught a moth too!!! She chased it all over the yard, but it was too fast. During out third outing, we ventured up into the trees. (we have a bunch of trees on a hill near our house. It's almost like a forest.) But, Mom wanted us to come down, cause we were too far up. Mom also put this thing on my tail feathers called a 'bow.' It felt weird, but after awhile, I got used to it. So, I decided to take my flock some place kind of new. So, we went to the backyard. But then I saw these bees, and Junior almost got stung!!!!! Mom picked her up just in time!! Twice Snap tried to get some corn, but Mom didn't give in. Oh, well. More tomorrow!!!

Buttermilk:

FINALLY, Mom came on time today!! It was later than usual, but I was fine with it. But, Bisquick didn't like it at ALL. I just finished my breakfast, and was getting a drink, then went down to our run to play some, then Mom came to take us out. :) I was happy about that. Junior almost got stung by a bee today!! It was a yellow jacket, and it was sure close!!!! Snap, Bisquick, and I took a dust bath while Junior dug in Grammie's gardens. A little human came over, and Mom showed us to him. He didn't stay for long, cause his Mom and and Grammie was talking, so Mom showed us to him. I'm glad he didn't pick us up, because I was in the middle of a dust bath. Lucky Bisquick got to wear a pretty thing in her tail called a 'bow.' I really wanted one, but Bisquick couldn't get it off. Gotta go!!!!

Snap:
I got the bunk last night!!!!!!  And we came out three times today!!! Junior really wanted it, but I got to asking Buttermilk before her. Buttermilk said alright, but just for that night. I think I'll be on the bunk more than that night. ;) I almost got a moth today!!!!! I chased it ALL over, but it was too fast for me. Next time I'll get him!!! Junior almost got stung by a bee!! Mom snatched her up just in time for her to dodge the bee!!! After that Bisquick said that we should probably go to a different part of the yard, so we left. I took a dust bath!! Well, Bisquick and Buttermilk did too, but Junior dug in Grammie's gardens. She did a lot of work!!! Hopefully I get the bunk tonight!!! -Snap

Junior:
I promise that I'm gonna get the bunk tonight!!!!!!!!!! Stinky Snap got it last night, but Buttermilk won't let her have it tonight. Maybe she'll let me have it!!! I got a worm this morning too!!! We came out three times today! Hopefully, we'll come out just as many times, or more tomorrow. :) There's not too much to write about, except that I got to dig in Grammie's gardens. :) Mommy swept all the mulch up though. :| Oh, well. Tonight I will get the bunk!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Junior
