The ducks former owner swears she hatched out 3 clutches of eggs untill he stopped giving them to her. He says she LOVES to sit. Now my hens have not been laying very well (my two layers are a brahma and a leghorn, and the brahma is apparently taking the summer off.) but I would love to get some eggs under her to see how she does. How long do you think she should live here before I start giving her eggs to sit on? My class of 2012 pullets should start laying any time now, but with 2 leghorn hybrid roos and 2 couchin mutt roos, lord knows what I might get.
