New From Michigan

Thread Starter

Hi

My name is Matt I just move to Clarkston, MI  in August of last year and I have been slowly looking into getting backyard chickens. We live on 2.2 Acres and I am currently looking at building my own coop so that hopefully by next spring we can get chicks.

Hello Matt! From another MI user. I am in Holland. How far is Clarkston from Eaton Rapids? There is a guy there who builds these AWESOME coops. They are heavy, they are predator proof. He has a rather big one for sale right now and is willing to take trades if you haven't the whole cash amount, and he isn't asking all that much really. You'd need a trailer though to move it. Anyway, be sure to check out the MI thread at a later point... Welcome to BYC!
