Leghorns are great egg laying chickens. They are friendly to other Leghorns and can easily fly. The only problems is that they are bad in the pecking order and they can make a mess of the yard....
I will start by saying that I love Australorps. In fact, my very favorite hen is an Australorp. She is such a sweet chicken and just let's you walk right up to her to pick her up. She doesn't run...

They are about 4-5 weeks...the white crested one and the buff fight ALOT and act 'rooish' whilst the golden and silver laced ones are more mellow and keep their heads down soo I pretty sure I'm right. I was just checking though

Behavior (in my experience) is less important than the color and size of the wattles. At about seven to eight weeks, the males will have these noticeably larger and redder wattles. So check their faces over the next two or three weeks.
Well the white crested is definitely a roo...The buff I don't really know it has smaller wattles but they're really, really red...The Golden & Silver laced have tiny wattles you barely can see.
