I was told my RIR is a girl when she was a month or so younger but now she is 4.5 months and I am being told she is a rooster?? Anyone help?? I so want her to be a girl:)

Thats a girl. At that age, you'd have very long tail feathers going on already. And crowing. Here is a pic of a cockerel from feathersite.

To be honest none of the pictures posted in this thread were Rhode Island Reds.
There all Production Reds except the giffs farm bird which looks like a hatchery quality welsummer or a cross.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!
