Wanting In the House

Our chickens have discovered that they can get up onto of the well box and look into the kitchen window.  Now we have chickens staring into our kitchen asking us to share some food with them!

How COULD you eat in front of them? lau.gif

If you want to get a rise out of them, hold up some cooked spaghetti.

Can't wait to show them spaghetti....8-))   We are breeding meal worms for them and they come running when I come out with the container of worms.  Love the way they turn their head when I come outside and say "Hey Girls"

Not sure if this will work, but here are pathetic pictures of chickens cast out into the snow.

4 Buff Orpington hens and 1 roosterboy, 2 Wyandottes, 2 Americaunas, 6 cats, 4 dogs. Does it matter that Attila the Hen's avatar is a rooster?

What a cute picture and what sweet chickens!  I think chickens are even better than cats at getting you to do what they want.

Whoever said don't count your chickens before they're hatched clearly never tried to count chickens after they're hatched.

We had this little fence along the garden that lined up with our back window in our dining room. When we sat down for breakfast in the morning the chickens would pace back and forth until they also got a bowl of cherrios :) lol good memories!
