I'm about to go candle mine now. Should be Day5 and Day3. I just want to see if anything is starting, or if this hatch is just going to be a bust.

ChicksinPR, I'm going to talk to her about it once we settle on a price and how many eggs she'll be able to ship me....and then I'm going to ask that she pack them in an egg crate. I don't want to seem pushy and then end up with her saying she can't send me any more eggs or something.

I checked it out "Rept 6000" & read bout it sum more....even to the site....YES!!! I want it...but my man said I have to wait til next month!!

between "His Big Toys" & the farm...too many payments & tight on money for the rest of this month :(

So I'll have to get the GQF 1200 Brooder out of the barn to set up for Lock down...so I can still turn my Phoenix eggs in the GQF 1202 incubator,

since they wont b here til next week.

This just AINT FAIR!!!!

Told him "its only $200 bucks & we could take the GQF to RAZ Auction to sell next month"

But he did promise me I would get it next month!!

***Kickin the dirt*** Guess I'll have to wait on my "NEW" incubator!!

Well i put my eggs in on Sunday and now my AC in my house is not working correctly so the average temp in the home is 80 degrees and it's making my bator temp spike to 102!!!! I have lowered it but should i be worried this early in the game? so frustrating man! I had everything perfect and now this. I have had 2 terrible hatches and if this one fails that's it i will not try to do this again what a pain! barnie.gif Oh and my turner had quit after the first day luckily i had another one to replace it with not a good start with these babies for sure. he.gif

I AM PRAYING IT WORKS OUT! fl.gif

Mine hit 102º also, but as long as it didn't stay at that temp for more than a couple of hours, we should be okay...I think.  Opinions?

I think your still safe at 102 . If it's a still air incubator then it won't hurt anything. My last hatch got up to 102 and they still developed. Hope yours are good

Ugh. Didn't see anything in any of the eggs except a blood ring in one. Crap. I hate waiting. I'm going to give it 4 more days an if there's nothing there then I'm dumping the lot of them and starting over in my new incubator. I really think that the high temperatures are what did them in.

I am going to have to try hatching white eggs.  I always have brown, and can never see the veins. I sit in limbo until day 10, if I am lucky.

1 quarter horse, 1 tuxedo cat, 1 siberian hamsters, 3 dogs, 1 hermit crab, 7 freshwater fish, 5 Brahma chickens, 2 showgirl chickens, 9 silkies, 7production chickens, 12 to be determined bantam chicks, 2 pekin ducks and 1 swedish duck....I should hatch a partridge for the pear tree to round it off.
