I asked you on the other thread, but you must have missed it.  If you have a Plainfield address, you may be unincorporated Joliet, Troy township.  It's possible you bought your house and weren't told that.  Much of the older part of Longleat is unincorporated, as is some of 59.  If so, Joliet has no say over what you can or can't do in your yard.

I thought we were in Unincorporated Will County, but the City of Joliet sent the notice. We pay taxes to both Joliet and Plainfield. Also, I thought Joliet would be more lenient considering it's a bigger city and Chicago allows them. If you walk beyond my back yard, you're in unincorporated Will, but they are having problems of their own with chickens. 

 

I really really love these little gals and will hate to see them go.

We are in Indiana but I signed.

Chickens- 3 GLW, 3 Red Stars, 3 White rocks, 1 Blue Andalusian, 2 Australorps, 3 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Welsummers, 1 White Wyandotte, 1 Silver spangled hamburg, 1 Exchequre leghorn, 2 EE, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 barnyard mix and a Buff Silkie

(we were going to start small LOL)

 

2 Black Shetland sheep

2 Pygmy goats

3 Pekin ducks

1 (Black) Blue Swedish duck

1 Ball python

2 dogs and 2 cats
