When the cameras go up Im recording and pressing charges this time .. I have had it ... 2 rolls of wire one roll of that green plastic stuff .. some wood and now 2 chickens and its not like we are where people can see us we are off the road a good piece and the only one that knew the stuff was here was the neighbors ... might account for the food being short for past couple of weeks as well now thatI see the pattern ... grrrr shopping on ebay as we speak for 3 wireless camera system .. and we are moving the non bird killing dogs closer to the pens at night ... the neighbor we think is doing it is terrified of dogs !!!

I don't know what we'll do when our german shepard x lab dog Sequoia is gone because she hears things long before we do. Granted, sometimes it's only a fly lol but she's very smart! It helps that when she's on the chain people think she's a mean rottie! lol I hope you can find a good camera system and catch who's doing it!

UGH!! We have fought one BR pullet all summer who absolutely refuses to stay in the run. We have raised the fence 3 times because of her too! The fence is now 8.5 feet and she STILL gets herself out. She's now flying up the fence (looks like she's climbing!), sits up there a few minutes then jumps down. We have trimmed one wing, that didn't work, we trimmed two that didn't work. I have had or been around chickens my whole life and never once have I seen a chicken who can't stand to be in a run like this one. The other pullets we got at the same time did it until we raised the fence but they stopped. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to sell her. We have even stopped catching her and putting her back in. I figure if something gets her that's her problem I'm that frustrated!!!

When I went out to feed everyone a half hour ago she was in the yard again. I watched her as she flew into the duck run, up to the top of the duck coop then flew to the top of the fence and down to eat. She took a few bites then went back out again. She has it down like a routine!

Aric is the chicken person so I'm going to ask him if I can sell it. I've had enough!
