Confusing BOs - Page 8

Mine did. But that doesn't mean they all will I suppose. I had 2 roosters of another breed that didn't but one was a real late bloomer I think is why. All the male Orps I've had, if they were the same age, crowed the same day. Not to say I've had all that many, just the few batches I have had, that's what they did.

hhmmm  having the same issue and now I see the two tone.  I think one of mine is a roo as well  :(

Don't go by the two tone. Hens can have two tones, too.

and BO hens can crow?  I have one that started crowing last night and is 14 weeks old, two toned and has me really wondering

UGH!  I just cant seem to figure this out...  so, crowing really means a roo even tho hens can crow?  And whats harder is he/she has a very red comb and is quite bigger...

I had one my friends SWORE was a hen... He developed EARLY... Full comb and wattles @ 5 weeks.

I sooooooo should have known better lol

HE crowed lol. He's a GREAT rooster tho.

Lilly

Daisy... She's two toned.

Daisy, again...

and Rod... The crowing rooster.

I would still say 2 pullets and one cockerel.

Married to wife of 18yrs, 19yo and 17yo boys(One EOD in Army, other in HS), Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog mix, 2 dumb cats that hate each other(at least the fighting stopped), 33 chickens
