For Sale:
Nubian cross doe in milk and 2 mo old buck
Will Ship To: Nowhere -- local only
I have a 2 year old Nubian cross doe (freshened 6/14/12) I would like to sale. She has horns. I obtained her and her twin daughters in May of this year. She kidded twin bucks on 6/14/12. I am keeping one buck and would like to sale the other. He is dehorned. She is milking about 2 cups in the AM only; however, the bucks are still nursing and have not been taken from her at night, so if they were separated, the amount you milk would increase greatly. She is ok on the milking stand - I have been working with her as her previous owner didn't milk her very often. She has a double teat on her right side. The milk comes out of both orifices. You just have to hold the milk bucket up to the teat when you milk. It is very easy flow, it just flows in both directions :) She has nursed both boys (and girls) with no problem with each kid on a different side. She is not a mean goat and has calmed down quite a lot since I've been working with her. She likes to be petted and gets along with my young children just fine. She just needs someone who has time to milk her as she takes a little longer than normal. She is my favorite, she's just not producing the amount I'd like to get for cheese making. I just finished her third round of Ivomec for worming. She is not registered.
I am asking $175 for her.
The buck I am asking $50 for.
I have not tested my heard for CAE or CL.
I can text pictures if you are interested. 832-459-1301 or vrh2031@yahoo.com. Thank you. Vicki.
