Hello to all,

I found this wonderful website while trying to find out if it is legal to keep chickens in city limits. (Springfield, Ohio)

I just love all the useful information!!. I have been browsing the Internet looking for information on fresh foods, raw milk, trying to get more healthy food on the table. unfortunately I live in the city limits and have a small yard. So I buy what I can from local farm stands and the farmers market. (here only held on Saturdays). I do have a time set up with a local farmer to talk about herdshares. cannot wait, love it. If anyone out there knows if it is legal to keep chickens in the city please let me know. ( I am sure my neighbors will love it.)

Thanks  to all you. Just found out they are only legal if you have 100 or more feet between them and your neighbors.  Over an acre of land, in the city right. But some people are working to change this. I am joining them. Wish us luck!!
