Every so often as I am feeding my chickens out of my hand, my hen Susan will cough a little. I thought she might have just been choking a little at first, but its happened three or four times now and I want to make sure there isn't a problem. I think one of the other hens may have been doing it too. It's a little soft cough, a little wheezy. They haven't been exposed to other chickens, and it's been several months since new ones were introduced into the flock from a local farm where they were healthy. Is this a sign of a problem?
