Now that I have a couple dozen jars of blackberry jelly, DH would like me to make a cobbler out of the next few quarts I pick. I've never made a cobbler before, so does anyone have a great recipe that they could share? Thanks! ~kat

Easy peasy:
1 cup sugar
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk
2 cups blackberries (or peaches, fresh cherries, etc.)
2 to 4 Tbsp butter or margarine
Melt the butter in an 8" square pan. Whisk sugar, flour and milk together. Pour over butter. Place fruit on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or til brown.
To make self rising flour: 1 cup all purpose flour, 1.5 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda
The crust will rise to the top during baking.
