Bulging Neck on duckling w/photos

This little scovy Gal's neck wasn't like until almost 2 weeks ago. I thought she might have swallowed a mouse or frog at first but it has stayed the same. She eats, runs, swims, plays, poops just fine..shows no signs of distress or pain at all. the bulge is causing her to hold her neck/head to the side instead of the center of her body.  Any ideas?

I'm sorry the photos aren't crips, I used my phone. Will try again tomorrow with my camera.

Miss Lydia,it's very soft. She doesn't even get upset when I touch it, press on it. I've never seen anything like this in my 4 yrs of having ducks.

Is it warm at all? It could be a huge abscess but I would think it would have resolved in the 2 weeks that have passed. Is she able to eat and drink normally?

the area feels the same temp as the rest of her, she's eating and drinking normally, running, swimming...no signs at all that anything is wrong except for that swollen area..I'm so stumped on this.

Michelle could it have been something she had from birth but as she grew it just got more noticeable? Seems to me if it was life threatening you would be seeing signs.

To me it looks like wry neck.  The head is carried way off to the side.  I had one with this and was treating her with human baby vitamins (poly sol???) but we moved and I gave her away so I don't know if it resolved.  Search BYC or the internet.

DOGS: 4 Shih Tzu, 1 Papillon, 1 Great Pyrenees

CHICKENS: 1 BO, 2 EE, 2 WLH, 10 blue and splash JG, plus various aged JG, BO, JG/BO and JG/EE chicks, and 8 meaties.

DUCKS: 20 Muscovy ducks: 5 adults, 7 juveniles and 8 ducklings.  6 Pekin ducklings

Some threads started with basic info.

Picking a duck breed, where to buy, what genders to get

Raising and caring for ducklings

Maybe so JW, be worth checking into with vitamins.
