I filled up their feeder just four hours ago and in the heavy wind and rain we're getting here in Australia, it got blown over and now theres feed everywhere!
My girls are picky and refuse to eat off the ground, only from a bowl or suet cage, unless it's grass.

I wouldn't feed them again until they clean it up but that is just me. My little chicks that are in a cage on dirt have a harder time cleaning up the food they scratch out. I feed my chickens on cement and I watch the weather. If it calls for rain or thunderstorms I feed less.

dont feed again till its cleaned up they will eat it but if they know your just gonna go and replace it immediately they will keep doing it ..and your spending money and wasting feed .. mine are picky too thats why i keep the feeder in the coop so they wont do that

I made a set of feeders out of PVC pipe and fittings they are water and wind resistant (if it is raining sideways they might get wet), Rodent proof, Bird resistant, poop proof and "scratch" proof. They hold 2 days worth of food (9 birds). I based the feeders on the Dine-A-Chook feeder which is an Australian company!

What about making a little outside feeding station? Just like a little free standing structure w/o any walls- just a roof, that puts down a little shade and will keep the rain off your food. I think that would be your best bet.
