male on male???

Thread Starter

My golden wyandotte rooster is a little on the aggressive side with the girls. we recently have been trying to get two groups of slightly different ages together. So far so good, however... the same rooster seems to really "like" one of my production reds that I believe is male. Is this normal? a way to express dominance?

2 golden laced wyandottes, 3 light brahmas, 4 production reds, 2 black giants

We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.
