welcome-byc.gif from California! My chickens can fly up on top of a 5 foot fence but only if I lock them in the garden and they want out.

My best flier is my Norwegian Jaerhon hen. She is small and friendly, but can fly up into my oak trees instantly if something scares her.

Providing a home to 85 chickens, 6 geese, 3 ducks, 2 dogs, 9 cats, 4 kids, and one lovely understanding wife.

Maybe you just need some more Welsummers? They are on my list. If things go well with the 12 chickens we have now, "chicken math" will likely take hold so I need a list! big_smile.png

2 each: Ancona, Astralorp, Cubalaya, Easter Egger, Partridge Chantecler, Salmon Faverolles
