Hi, I'm from Adelaide, South Australia.

 

My 2 chooks enjoy wandering the backyard, digging up the lawn and occasionally pecking my feet to see if I'm made of food.

The profile photo shows 3 chooks but poor Chicken Little succumbed to an illness a couple of months ago, whatever it was, wasn't contagious. Xena Worrier Chicken and Phoenix are quite healthy.

I don't know what breed they are, they're brown and they lay eggs. I got them at the local feed store.

 

I recently built a treadle feeder that i found on Backyard Chickens. The girls are getting used to it, the wild doves aren't. undefined

 

I'm off outside to see if I can see any of the Perseid meteor shower.

Your chickens are sex links. We have them too, bought them from the feed store as chicks.
Our neighbours' SLs look exactly like yours. Ours have always been a slightly different colour. Maybe it's where we get them from, I don't know. lol.png
