I'm gonna come right out and say it. How do you sex a chick? I want to be able to tell early so I know which to sell because I want a rooster and 3 hens of the breed of egg I have. Thanx.

Porcelain and Mille Fleur D'Uccles, Leghorns for eggs and finally Lavender, Pied, Gold Barred and Chocolate Muscovys .

Sexing chicks article with pics for some breeds

 

You can do a vent check when they are older, but don't do it on bantams as they can't take the pressure when they are chicks and you will kill them or damage them.
