We live in the suburbs and are learning as much as we can before preparing an area, building a coop, and bringing the chickies home. We are a family of 5 - my husband and I have three children 18, 15, and 11. we are really looking forward to learning about the circle of life and eating some backyard fresh eggs. I'm sure we will need lots of advice and we'll find it here - hopefully with a little help from our new friends on BYC.com.
