White Chinese Geese, Temperament? HELP!

I read that the White Chinese geese are docile and friendly, then the next thing I read is that they are very aggressive. Which is it? I have to decide whether to keep, or re-home a 5 month old White Chinese hen. Do they blend in with the flock or do they dominate it like Embdens do? I have Toulouse and Embdens right now who are balanced with each other. Should I add the Chinese hen or send her to another very good home where their ganders are lonely?

3 chickens (hens), 5 geese (3 Embdens, 2 Toulouse), 24 ducks (5 Calls, 7 Call/Runner babies, 9 Runners, 1 Golden Welsh Harlequin, 1 Swedish Blue/Runner cross, 1 Khaki Campbell).

i have a chineese gander amongst 3 embdens and the gander loves them

he will honk if seperated and never hurts them at all

im glad i kept him as he was orginally purchased as a meat bird

on a side note i would he home her on the only basis that its your only chineese and if she goes she will go with other chineese so the breeding will stay pure

oh and also yes they can be more aggressive them talouse and embden but then emden are aggressive too and i have both and find them OK only once did my chineese lunge at me and thats purely because i had him cornered

Thanks. I do have a friend with a Chinese gander so it's tempting to send her to be with him. She's 5 months old and is such a funny little thing, she's Miss Personality now but I'm afraid that as an adult she may overpower my Toulouse. I can't find anything on the personality of a Chinese hen.

we got a pair of chinese geese who are quite a bit younger than yours and they are already so sassy, but nice birds and I really do love em. our thinking was that since they're so much smaller they will be less intimidating. but I did see ours pick on our little chickens for the first time today!

I have read that geese sometimes will drown chickens, I keep mine separate but I know lots of people who don't and have no problem. I think as long as they have lots of room to roam and are not stuck in some little pen all the time they are fine together.

This Chinese girl is so sweet but I bet she'll grow up to be a saucy thing. It's probably better if she goes to live with another Chinese goose.

I have 2 white Chinese geese. I raised them ever since they were goslings. Both are very sweet and nice. A little timid of people but that's all. They might be aggressive if I got them as adults though. SO I guess it just depends on what age you get them at. Also if you don't have one and are planning to get one make sure your neighbors are heavy sleepers, they are LOUD!

I have chickens, ducks, and geese all in one coop and they get along very well. But its probably because they've been together since they were all still babies.

I have 7 tolouse geese (5 females, 2 males) and just added 2 female brown chinese geese, the tolouse geese pick on the little chinese geese, so I had to make a seperate run for the chinese geese. The chinese geese were so determined to join the tolouse geese flock, but the tolouse wouldn't allow it. And yes, the chinese geese are exponentially louder than the tolouse, by a factor of 10 at least, I will never get chinese geese again (we rescued these). The tolouse are wonderful, we love them so much.
