All of mine have set at least once this summer Black broody is on her third I think. The first was too early this spring and didn't hatch.

They are a very independent breed and if left to free range mine will not roost in a coop they chose the trees or above my porch. I love my banties!!  They are the only Roos I have had that do not  get nasty!!!

This is my silver duck wing Roo Roo. He has iridescent blue, green, and purple feathers. Pic does not do him justice at all!!!

I am a Maine farm girl! 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 beef calves, 2 cats, a 75 gal fish tank, a Ball python, numerous barnyard banties and 9 EE's and three Muscovy ducks. Holy cow sounds like alot to see it written out!! :)

Alot of OEG bantams will go broody but even more of them wont.. Now when free ranged almost all of them will. Also in the OEG bantam if they are free ranged after a couple generations they start to get a more natural looking "gamefowl" type and look less and less like the little frilly show birds.. Plus nature will cull out the weak, sick and stupid...

Yep they do get culled!!! I dont want stupid birds.  And the fox does a good job of getting rid of them. I have ended up with almost all cream colored hens though, they seem to be the smartest ones. On a good note they do not bother my garden plants so they have the run of my veggie and flower gardens year round.
