Samuel Adams:  "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

We have hawks, owls, eagles, coons, skunks, possums (they used to eat the legs off the roosting birds when I was a kid), foxes, coyotes, coy-dogs, wild dogs, neighboring pet dogs, bobcats, and cats.

I am hoping to get a trail camera to see who stops by at night.

I have only had problems with neighbors dogs and raccoons.

The only predators we have had problems with are hawks so far.  We had 3 attacks so far but all they have done is pull out feathers because we have intervened.

I have 1 guinea pig, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 Orpington, 1 Wyandotte, 1 Red Star, and 1 Hamburg.

                                                                          I love chickens!!!

We have everything except snakes and, so far, rats.  Have a double-wire electric fence that works against the larger 4-legged predators, but small skunks sometimes get in under the wire where it's more than 4 inches off the ground.  So far no weasels, though I know they are around here.  Overhead I have a cobweb of monofilament fishing line, that has been keeping the Cooper's Hawks (and the Ravens) out but did not deter the Great Horned Owl.  There are bears nearby but so far we've been lucky.

In 3 years we've lost 3 birds to Cooper's Hawks, one chick to a Red-Tailed, 2 chicks and 4 meaties to skunks, and 2 meaties to the Owl.
