Why do you think mine is a roo?  It's feathers on it's head?  It doesn't have any waddles or comb.

Yes, the wild poof.  It takes a while for wattles and comb to appear.  Two of mine, both roos, didn't have comb or wattles until they were about 5 months old.

The wild hair comes later.  These are two of my polish chickens.  The one on the RIGHT is a hen, LEFT is a roo!

They are 3 months old in this picture.

Wow, I would have said the other way around based on their poofs (not the waddles the roo is already sporting).  So there's hope for mine yet!  And your's too SamLParks.  When did your roo start to have roo-like saddle feathers?  My polish shows no signs of pointy, long saddles (yet).

12 - 14 weeks old...you should start seeing saddle and hackle feathers.

Yeah every day the chick looks more and more like a pullet! My other polish's top hat (I'm new to the breed) was much more tame and groomed than this one. But its starting to look like the others. They were both straight run, looks like I lucked out!!! Thanks!
