First, yes our turkeys free range like our chickens but only under our watchful eyes otherwise we have a couple that tend to fly places we can't find them. They also have a tendency to "tease" our bantams. They are so funny!

The only time our turkeys ever scratch is in the dirt pile we have for them to "bathe" in. They do sometimes get in the garden beds but they don't scratch them up, usually they're just on their way to somewhere else and in the meantime they step on everything that's planted and growing. They'll also eat stuff. They like our corn and okra for some reason ... not the vegies, the leaves on the plants. Turkeys are great fun to have. We love them and they have amazing personalities. They are curious about everything though.

Barred rocks, red sex link, silver wyandotte, white leghorns, mottled cochin banty, silkie, blue swedish and khaki campbell ducks, meat rabbits, white holland turkeys, turtles, cats, and as much garden space as one can cram into a small urban yard half given over to the chickens

Going back home. No internet at the house, so I won't be online as much. Sorry for any RP inconveniences.
