Hello From North Carolina!

Thread Starter

Hello! I have been using this site a lot for research, and I have decided finally to join now that I finally got my chickens!  I just got my 9 chicks three days ago in the mail from Meyer Hatchery!  I ordered all hens (we shall see if they will all turn out that way!).  There is 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Dominique, 1 New Hampshire Red, 1 White Leghorn, 2 Speckled Sussex, 2 Easter Eggers, and 1 Welsummer.  I am so excited to watch them grow up and eventually get some beautiful eggs!  Im really looking forward to learning new things on this site and talking chicken!

Mother to 8 spoiled hens - 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Leghorn, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 New Hampshire Red, 1 Welsummer, and 1 Dominique!

Also the slave of a Labrador Mix, a very friendly housecat, and 20 or so Mini Rex Rabbits.

Greetings from Kansas and welcome-byc.gif!  That's a fine selection of hens you have there!  Good luck to you and enjoy those eggs in a few months!
