Just sharing my Babies

My chicks are 3 months old today. I never thought that chickens could be so interesting to have. My chicks have surprised me with the colors they have turned and how sweet they are. Never thought I would like having chickens but silkies have changed my mind. Here are a few pictures of my babies I took yesterday in their small run while the large one is being built.

The 2 partridge are cockerels, My splash is also a cockerel, my favorite and his name is Animal. The 2 buffs are my pullets, ones name is Goose. She sounds like a goose when she carries on, so that is how she got her name, the other pullet doesn't have a name yet. My son calls one of the partridge Sam, He can't tell them apart so I guess they are both Sam. I can't believe how much they have grown is 12 weeks time, ready for more. Love the chicken math.

The blue/ gray is a splash and my favorite, he is very sweet loves treats and being around people. I almost got rid of him because he was so ugly and now he has turned into a favorite of mine. The buffis very pretty but the black and blue are what I want most, just can't find them around me. I will be adding a few more girls if I can ever find any.

I want to get some silkies eventually as well, as they are such good brooders.
