WOW got some eggs today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went by where I will be picking up an adult pair  and scored 3 peacock eggs his hen(mine after monday)is still laying eggs i put them in incubator we will see what happens in 28 days ....... am i ok in doing this or is it a lost cause>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If they do hatch keep in mind how young they will be going into colder fall-winter weather with only 1-2 months of age and growth on them.They will need supplemental heat for a long time by hatching so late,maybe all winter.

It will depend where they live, all my birds are Late August hatches and i never had them inside nore did i supplement their heat all winter, they did just fine on their own and we got freezing temps and even a little snow, however it does not stay cold all the time here,it usually drops it's lowest around 2 am till 8 am then warm up and repeat.

I'm still getting,,,,and incubating BSSP eggs,,,got 2 more just an hour ago,,,and straight from the breeding pen, into the bator they went.

Ok so I got some more went to pick up pair of adults today 1 egg on ground brought it home with pair!! put them in new temporay enclosure and 30 mins later I GOT a NOTHER ONE excuse the southern expression !!! letting them get room temp in the bater they goooooooooooo.droolin.gif
